About Fantasy Football Desk

Last updated Oct 1, 2026

Fantasy Football Desk is an independent NFL news site built for fantasy football managers. Every story answers one question: what does this change for my lineup?

What we cover

• Breaking news: signings, trades, depth-chart moves and coaching decisions, each with a fantasy take.
• Injuries: practice reports and game statuses, and who benefits when a starter sits.
• Waiver Wire, Start/Sit and Rankings: weekly columns built on real data, including add/drop trends from Sleeper leagues.
• Hubs for every NFL team and the players we cover.

How we work

We monitor team announcements, league transactions, injury reports and trusted news outlets around the clock. Stories are drafted with AI, and every factual claim is checked against the sources before publication; anything that fails a check is held for our editor. Every article links its sources. The full process is in our Editorial & AI Policy.

Who we are

The site is run by a small independent team. Our editor writes under the pen name Cole Hartwell, reviews the stories our checks hold back, and handles corrections.

Independence

Fantasy Football Desk is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League, any NFL team, the NFL Players Association, or any fantasy platform. Team and player names are used only to identify the subject of our reporting.
