By Cole Hartwell

The Vikings listed Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison as questionable for Sunday’s game at the New Orleans Saints, and head coach Kevin O’Connell said the team will evaluate both receivers over the next day before deciding whether to elevate Odell Beckham from the practice squad, according to Mike Garafolo.

What happened

The Vikings’ final Week 5 injury report lists Jefferson and Addison as questionable, along with Michael Jurgens, Brian O’Neill, and Ben Yurosek. Christian Darrisaw and Chuck Demmings are out, per the Vikings.

O’Connell said the team will evaluate Jefferson and Addison over the next day before deciding whether to elevate Odell Beckham from the practice squad, according to Mike Garafolo.

Context

Jefferson has played three games this season, totaling 44.9 PPR points on 17 targets, 13 receptions, 179 receiving yards, and two touchdowns. He is coming off a quiet Week 3 with 5.2 PPR points on two catches for 32 yards, playing just 12 percent of snaps. Sleeper projects him for 16.3 PPR points in Week 5.

Addison has played four games, producing 33.2 PPR points on 22 targets, 11 receptions, 163 yards, and one touchdown. He had 9.1 PPR points in Week 4 on four catches for 52 yards, playing 96 percent of snaps. Sleeper projects him for 8.4 PPR points in Week 5.

Jauan Jennings is next on the depth chart behind Jefferson and Addison. He has 2.9 PPR points on four targets, two catches, and nine yards in three games.

🏈 Fantasy impact

Jefferson is a must-start if active, but his low snap share in Week 3 (12%) is concerning. Addison would be a risky flex if he plays, with a modest 8.4-point projection. Beckham’s potential elevation adds another layer of uncertainty, but he has barely been involved this season. If Jefferson or Addison sits, Jauan Jennings becomes an interesting deep-league dart throw, though his production has been minimal. Monitor the team’s decision on Beckham and the statuses of both receivers before setting lineups.
