Tanner McKee, Cole Payton, Joe Milton are Eagles QBs for Week 6 vs. Panthers

Philadelphia’s quarterback room for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers is set, according to Adam Schefter: Tanner McKee, Cole Payton and Joe Milton.

What happened

The Eagles are signing Joe Milton off the Cowboys’ practice squad, Schefter reported. He joins McKee and Payton as the quarterbacks available for the Week 6 matchup at home against Carolina.

Context

Tanner McKee is the Eagles’ QB1 on the depth chart. He is projected for 11.1 PPR points in Week 6.

Jalen Hurts is listed as QB2 and tagged as out with a calf injury by Sleeper, but that designation may be left over from last week and is not the team’s game status.

Cole Payton is third on the depth chart.

Timeline

On 2026-10-15, Fantasy Football Desk reported that Tanner McKee was lined up to start Sunday’s game against the Panthers after the Eagles ruled out Jalen Hurts for Week 6 due to a superficial blood clot in his calf, according to Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

The Eagles announced Wednesday that Hurts is out because of a small superficial blood clot in his leg. A follow-up ultrasound Wednesday night showed movement in the small blood clot.

What’s next

The Eagles host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, October 18.
